Inrtoduction of Vladimir Putin.....
Putin was born in Leningrad and Putin studied law at Leningrad State University, graduating in 1975.    Vladimir Putin used to fight here with local boys.  Vladimir Putin would fight even guys who were older and stronger than him.  This led him to learn judo-karate.

Putin said in October 2015 that "50 years ago, the streets of Langard taught me a lesson that if a fight becomes necessary, you must strike first." Vladimir Putin defends his military offensive against separatist rebels in Chechnya.  While doing so, he used foul language like a street fighter and vowed to wipe them out 'even in the toilet'. In 2008, Russian forces defeated the Georgian army and captured the two breakaway regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.  This was a very personal conflict with the then pro-NATO president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili.
Vladimir Putin As A President.....

The Russian economy grew for eight consecutive years under Vladimir Putin, with a 72 percent increase in purchasing power as measured by GDP.  The increase was the result of a five-fold increase in the price of oil and gas, which make up the majority of Russian exports, while serving as prime minister under Medvedev, he implemented massive military reforms and police reforms.  Oversaw Russia's victory in the Russo-Georgian War.  During his third term as president, falling oil prices as well as international sanctions were imposed in early 2014 when Russia launched a military intervention in Ukraine and annexed Crimea, which led to the 2015 G  GDP fell by 3.7%, although the Russian economy recovered in 2016 with 0.3%.  GDP growth % During his fourth term as president, the COVID-19 pandemic hit Russia, and Putin ordered an all-out invasion of Ukraine in 2022, leading to a personal war against Russia and him.  More restrictions were imposed.  Other developments under Putin include the construction of oil and gas pipelines, satellite navigation systems and infrastructure for international events such as the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Vladimir Putin's attitude towards political opponents....

Under Putin, Russia has moved towards authoritarianism.  Experts do not consider Russia a democracy, citing jailing of political opponents, intimidation of the free press, and lack of fair elections.  Russia scores poorly on Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Index, the Economist Intelligence Unit's Democracy Index, and Freedom House's Freedom in the World Index.

Cold War relations with Western countries......

Tensions between Russia and Ukraine rose after Moscow deployed troops to aid Bashar al-Assad in Syria, raising suspicions of President Putin in the West.  Meanwhile, relations with Western countries became as cold as they were during the Cold War.  However, the era of former US President Donald Trump is an exception, who openly praised his Russian counterpart.  While US President Joe Biden, who succeeded Trump, referred to Putin as the word 'murderer'
Vladimir Putin is a former spy.......
Before the collapse of the Soviet Union, Putin was working as a spy in Russia's notorious intelligence agency, the KGB.  Many of Vladimir Putin's friends are from intelligence agencies.  President Putin began his political journey in the early 1990s.  At the beginning of the new year in 1999, Russian President Boris Yeltsin stepped down from office, and he named Vladimir Putin as acting president.  He has been in power ever since.  Although between 2008 and 2012, Putin held the position of Prime Minister.  Under the Russian constitution, he could not run for a third consecutive term as prime minister.  Putin returned to power in the 2012 elections with a landslide victory of 66 percent.  Allegations of rigging were also leveled in these elections.  After Putin came to power, he restored the typical Soviet-era military parades and re-emerged once-banned portraits of Joseph Stalin.  He called it the greatest geographical disaster of the century and he has been a strong critic of NATO's expansion to Russia's borders until 1997.
