Shoaib Akhtar (Pakistani Fast Bowler)



Shoaib Akhtar is not only the fastest bowler of the Pakistan cricket team but also the world's fastest bowler who belongs to the Gujjar community Shoaib Akhtar is also known as "Rawalpindi Express".  He is said to be the only cricketer to have bowled 100 miles per hour twice.  But he has often been dropped from the team due to controversies.  He was accused of using banned performance-enhancing drugs in 2006, which led to a ban from cricket that was later lifted.  Kicked out of the team.  And his bowling action has been questioned several times.

Religious: Shoaib Akhtar is the follower of Islam.

Marriage:

Shoaib Akhtar said that his marriage was suddenly arranged by his parents and he was given an order, which he followed.

 He said that his mother-in-law and his mother met each other for the first time on the occasion of Hajj in Saudi Arabia, where his mother-in-law treated his mother as a pirni and served him a lot.



 According to the former cricketer, his mother told his mother-in-law that she is not Pirni but Shoaib Akhtar's mother, due to which people come to meet her and respect her.

Shoaib Akhtar married Rabab Khan on 23 July 2014, Shoaib Akhtar announced the birth of his first son Mikael on 7 November 2016. Former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar announced the birth of his second son on 14 July 2019.  Till date, Shoaib Akhtar has not announced the birth of his daughter.

Former national cricketer and fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has admitted for the first time while talking about marriage that my wife is much younger than me.

 Shoaib Akhtar openly talked about his career as well as marriage and told how he got married.

 Shoaib Akhtar, in response to a question, revealed that he got into cricket only when he was studying in FA, due to which he could not even give a paper of FA and still has not given it.



 He said that he had been serving his mother a lot, due to which he got what he wished for.

Early life:

 Shoaib Akhtar was born in Morga, a small town near Rawalpindi.  His father worked in the Attock Oil Refinery.  He started walking at the age of four because of flat feet.  and received his primary education at Elite High School, Morga and later took admission in Asghar Mall College, Rawalpindi for further education.  And Shoaib Akhtar started playing cricket at the age of 19.  Shoaib Akhtar made his first-class cricket debut in the 1994 season by playing for the Agricultural Development Bank of Pakistan.

International Cricket:

Shoaib Malik mentioned Pakistan's visit to India in the past.  Meanwhile, Shoaib Malik said that some children in India came to get Shahid Afridi's autograph, who saw Shoaib Akhtar and asked what is your uncle's name.Shoaib Akhtar replied to the children that after two days you will not be only taking my name.  He said that two days later there was a Test match in Kolkata in which Shoaib Akhtar dismissed Sachin Tendulkar on the first ball.

Shoaib Akhtar made his international debut against West Indies in November 1997.  And surprised everyone with his speed.  Shoaib Akhtar's popularity started with his brilliant performance against India before the start of the Cricket World Cup.  In 1999, he created havoc by taking the wickets of Indian player Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar in two balls against India in Calcutta.  Shoaib took a total of 8 wickets in this match.



 After that, Shoaib played an important role in the success against New Zealand and South Africa.  But the 2003 World Cup proved to be a failure for him due to which he was kicked out of the team.  On joining the team again in 2004, he performed brilliantly against New Zealand, but the tour of India in 2004 brought difficulties for him.  His decision not to play due to an injury during a match in that series led to a rift with then Pakistan captain Anzamam-ul-Haq and coach Bob Vollmer.  Inzamam-ul-Haq raised questions about the truth of Shoaib Akhtar's injury which later turned out to be false. The 2005 UK tour proved to be a landmark tour for him as he bowled well on pitches that were good for batting.  Due to his slow bowling, Shoaib Akhtar took the most wickets in the series with 17 wickets.  Shoaib Akhtar is the only player in the world who has bowled at a speed of more than 100 miles per hour.  He accomplished this feat against Great Britain during the 2003 World Cup.  Shoaib Akhtar bowled a ball at a speed of 161.4 km ph which is the fastest bowling speed till date.



Conflicts:

 Shoaib Akhtar's career is full of controversies.  He is famous for being in the news all the time.

 Controversy began in Australia in 1999 when umpires Daryl Hare and Peter Valley objected to his bowling style.  Which was later justified.

 In 2001, umpires Steve Dunn and Doug Cowie again objected to Shoaib's action.  After a study on his action at the University of Western Australia, the action was justified due to a congenital elbow in his arm.

 In 2002 a match against Zimbabwe was accused of ball tampering or changing the shape of the ball.

 He became the second player in the world to be fined and banned after being found guilty of ball tampering in a match against Sri Lanka in 2003.

During the 2005 tour of Australia, he was sent home for crying and breaking discipline with other players.

 In October 2006, Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif were banned from playing cricket after both were found guilty of taking the banned drug Nandrolone.



 In August 2007, the Pakistan Cricket Board fined Shoaib 3 lakh rupees after he misbehaved with the cricket board.

September 2007 Mohammad Asif was kicked out of the team for hitting him with the bat.

 Shoaib Akhtar has been pulled out of the team several times due to injuries.

Saqlain Mushtaq said that Shoaib Akhtar has been a friend since childhood before playing cricket.

 Saqlain Mushtaq said that Shoaib Akhtar is a very emotional person, he makes fun of himself, but if someone else makes a joke, he thinks bad. Saqlain Mushtaq said that there was a time when Shoaib Akhtar borrowed 250 rupees from him to buy clothes.  He said that at that time both of them had come to play the Karachi match with a team of 25 people, at that time two players had to stay in one room, I and Shoaib were in the same room.  .
