After which, on March 9, 2003, when Rajab Tayyab Erdoğan contested the elections for the parliamentary candidate from the same city, he received eighty-two percent and 85% of the votes Instead, he was elected a Member of Parliament from the city in the twenty-second election, and was made the Prime Minister in the 2003 election.
In 2014, the first presidential elections were held in Turkey, before that the parliamentarians had the right to choose the president of the country, and before that they won the presidential elections of Turkey and on August 2014, the people of Turkey cast their votes. For the first time, Rajab Tayyab Erdogan was elected as the President of Turkey. And on April 16, 2017, in Turkey's historic referendum election, he got another big success of his life by getting 51.41% of votes.
