Imran Ahmed khan Niazi (Former Prime Minister of Pakistan)





Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi is the former prime Minister of pakistan  and former captain of pakistan's cricket Team.Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi is a famous Pakistani cricketer and chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf, born on 25 November 1952.  Imran Khan's Test career started with the Test series played against Great Britain in 1971, but it took him another 6 years to convince himself.  Thanks to his excellent bowling in the Sydney Test in January 1977, Pakistan won by 8 wickets against Australia.  After which Imran Khan did not look back.Imran Khan played Test cricket for Pakistan between 1971 and 1992 and when Pakistan won the World Cup, Imran Khan was the captain of the team. 

Birth: Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi was born on 5 October 1952 in Lahore.

Father Name:

Ikramullah Khan Niazi is Imran Khan's father and belongs to a respectable family of Mianwali district.  Imran Khan's grandfather Dr. Muhammad Azim Khan Niazi was a great and famous personality of Mianwali distric.

Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi's Mother:



Shaukat Khanum is the mother of former Prime Minister of Pakistan and PTI chief Imran Khan.  His introduction to the public is due to his son who built Pakistan's first cancer hospital in Lahore in 1994 in his name.  Shaukat Khanum died in February 1985 due to cancer.

Cricket:

Imran Khan has also made a high place in the world of cricket and internationally he has been more famous for cricket than politics.  It was under his leadership that Pakistan won the 1992 Cricket World Cup.  Started first class cricket in 1969-1970 playing for Lahore against Sargodha.  Played the first test match against England in 1971. 

Initially playing for his college, Imran Khan joined the Pakistan national cricket team at the age of 18 and made his international cricket debut the same year in the 1971 series against England at Birmingham.  After graduation, he started playing cricket in Pakistan in 1976 and played till 1992.  He also captained the team between 1982 and 1992. 




Imran Khan played 88 Test matches and took 362 wickets.  From 1981 to 1982 in Lahore, 8 Sri Lankan players got out by giving only 58 runs.  And took 5 wickets in an innings 23 times.  Imran Khan scored 3807 runs at an average of 36.69 including 5 centuries.  As such, he was the first Pakistan captain under whose leadership the Pakistani team defeated India and England on English soil.  As captain, he played 48 Test matches out of which he won 14 and lost 8 and 26 ended in a draw or no result.

Marriage with Jamima:



In 1995, Imran Khan married Jemima Goldsmith, daughter of British billionaire businessman James Goldsmith.  Jemima Goldsmith converted to Islam before marriage and her Islamic name is Jemima Khan.  This marriage was discussed all over the world and the international media gave special importance to it.  On June 22, 2004, they announced their divorce.

Marriage with Reham Khan



On January 8, 2015, Imran Khan married British-Pakistani journalist Reham Khan. The wedding ceremony was held at Imran Khan's residence, Bani Gala, while food was distributed among the poor children during the celebration. No political figure was present at the wedding ceremony.On October 30, 2015, due to the political interference of Reham Khan, the divorced.

Marriage with Bushra bibi:



In the beginning of 2018, there were many news that Imran Khan has married Bashri Bibi.  However, Imran Khan and other members of Tehreek-e-Insaf and Manika family denied this rumor. On January 7, 2018, the central secretariat of PTI issued a statement that Imran Khan has sent a message to Bashri Bibi for marriage, but she has not yet accepted it.  Not done. Imran Khan's third marriage with Bushra Bibi can be called Imran Khan's successful marriage.

Political life:

 Imran Khan was offered political positions many times during cricket.  Nawaz Sharif also invited him to join his party. Imran Khan had a good relationship with Zia-ul-Haq, he had left cricket but General Zia-ul-Haq brought him back to cricket again in 1992 World Cup too.  Played at the behest of General Zia.

On April 25, 1996, he entered the political arena by establishing Tehreek Insaaf.  Initially, Imran Khan could not get success. Currently, his political party has 32 seats in the House of Pakistan Parliament, 7 in the Upper House, 4 in the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, 30 in the Provincial Assembly of Punjab and 59 in the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.


 On 25 December 2011, thousands of supporters gathered in Karachi. Organized a successful public event. According to a survey by the International Republican Institute, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf tops the list of popular parties in Pakistan at both the national and provincial levels. On 6 October 2012, Imran Khan joined a convoy of protesters against a drone strike in the South Waziristan region of Pakistan, on 23 March 2013, Imran Khan introduced the New Pakistan Resolution to kick off his election campaign.  On April 29, Abzor newspaper called Imran Khan and his party as the main opposition to the ruling Muslim League.  Between 2011 and 2013, Imran Khan and Nawaz Sharif exchanged bitter sentences and accusations. On May 7, 2013, just four days before the elections, Imran Khan was taken to Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore after falling from an elevator. Due to this tragedy, meetings of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf were cancelled.  Imran Khan concluded the campaign by addressing a rally of supporters in Islamabad via video link while lying in hospital in Lahore.

His party PTI won in 2018 general elections.

Prime Minister of Pakistan:



On 17 August 2018, Imran Khan became the 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan by getting 176 votes, while Shahbaz Sharif got 96 votes against him. He was sworn in on 18 August 2018.  On 18 August, Imran Khan announced a twenty-member cabinet and chose for himself the portfolios of Minister of Interior and Minister of Power.  But later the cabinet was expanded and he gave the ministerial portfolio to Umar Ayub Khan.

Imran Khan was the Prime Minister of Pakistan for about 3 years and 8 months.  Hard to describe in words, Imran Khan's government was ended by Shehbaz Sharif through mistrust and external interference. 90% of people in Pakistan are with former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Film:

A film Captain was released in 2013 on the struggle of Imran Khan, which showed the period of Imran Khan from 1992 to 2013 until the public change.  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has clarified that the investment of the film has nothing to do with Imran Khan and his organization and it is a totally unrelated project created by people related to film and media.
